Rangers legend Ally McCoist feels Davie Cooper must have set up HALF of his 355 career goals for the Ibrox club.

Today McCoist and Mark Hateley laid a wreath at the foot of Cooper's statue in Hamilton and Super Ally, Rangers ' all-time top goalscorer, revealed what it was like to play with the great man.



He was a truly gifted player and an even better human being.



“Still to this day it is the hardest shot I have ever seen on a football park the one against Aberdeen.

He told Rangers' official website : "I keep telling my boys, he didn’t have a right foot, he couldn’t head the ball, he couldn’t tackle, he wasn’t the quickest either but easily one of the best players I have ever seen and had the privilege to play with.
