Kilmarnock 's decision to half Rangers' allocation for their next visit to Rugby Park on the final day of the campaign has caused uproar within Ibrox.

It's the latest instance of a growing trend of Premiership clubs cutting away allocations when either Rangers or Celtic come to town.

Kilmarnock and Rangers have been involved in an epic battle on the park throughout a season which will see the Premiership rivals go toe-to-toe on no less than SEVEN occasions.



Instead of receiving their usual 8000 tickets to take over the Chadwick and Moffat Stands, Rangers supporters will be confined to just one end of the ground - meaning a maximum 4000 travelling support will witness the final game of the season.

Rangers are furious and responded on Tuesday with a threat to "consider carefully what allocation we will seek for future matches at Rugby Park".

Betfred Cup, Scottish Cup, Premiership ... it's been an intoxicating rivalry as Steve Clarke's Killie have pushed Steven Gerrard's side all the way in every domestic competition.
