She said: “It was amazing, absolutely amazing – I’m exhausted but feeling good.

Every person who raises £100 or more over the course of the season becomes a True Blue Hero and are invited to a special reception at Ibrox, where they receive a medal from a Rangers First Team player.

Rangers FC legend, Mark Hateley, was on hand to present everyone who took part in the event with a special certificate and refreshments in the Members Lounge.

“I just happened to see that the event was on my birthday and I’ve never done anything for the Rangers Charity Foundation before, so I thought I’d put the two together and celebrate turning 40 at one of my most favourite places in the world, all in aid of a good cause.
