Christian Eriksen's representatives reportedly 'made contact' with Bayern Munich after the German side hammered Tottenham in the Champions League.

The Dane came off the bench for Spurs in their 7-2 demolition at home as Mauricio Pochettino's side were embarrassed.

Eriksen was denied his exit from the club in the summer but those working for him are still trying to orchestrate a transfer.

Sport1 report that his representatives 'spoke to Bayern' and the German champions are interested.

Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the situation but Eriksen is thought to prefer waiting until the summer when his negotiating position is strong as a free agent.

It seems that he is desperate to leave Tottenham having rejected any overtures of a new deal with the Premier League side.

Aside from the thumping at the hands of Bayern, Spurs are down in ninth in the Premier League after eight games.
