Before ending his career at Scunthorpe, Wright spent two seasons just down the road from Dens Park at rivals Dundee United but Dundee decided to stop naming clubs right before he moved to Tannadice.
Former Aberdeen and Rangers defender Stephen Wright was confirmed as the new head of academy at Dens Park on Wednesday.
In their statement they said: "After a successful playing career which saw Stephen list Aberdeen, Rangers, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bradford City amongst his clubs, he moved into coaching."
But while listing the names of clubs he played for during a 12 year playing career that was heavily hampered by injury, Dundee decided to leave out a two-year chunk of his career.
Wright is reunited with Jim McIntyre, who appointed him as first-team coach at Dunfermline more than a decade ago.
That's apart from Dundee in this instance.
They say football fans are petty about their rivals and it's a fair comment.
