Five To Depart Academy

FIVE Academy players will depart the club this summer to play their football elsewhere.

The Rangers Academy will help each of the players with an action plan to try to maximise their choices in the next step in their careers.

“We hope that when players leave the Academy they are not only better footballers than when they arrived but also better people who are well rounded individuals who can use the attributes they have gained to go on and have successful careers and indeed successful lives.” Everyone at Rangers wishes every one of the players well and would like to thank them for all of their effort and hard work.



Kyle Bradley, Myles Beerman, Liam Burt and Scott Gray will all move on from the Reserve squad while Jay Mack will move on from the under-18 group.

The players will now spend time with Academy staff to ensure they are supported and do not feel isolated in making the next step in their professional development.

Head of Academy Craig Mulholland said: “Bonds are built with the players and their families over a number of years and many of the staff have seen these lads develop from primary children into men.
