As reported by Training Ground Guru, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is looking to complete another Liverpool reunion at the Ibrox club and get former Reds physio Matt Konopinski to join.

Steven has certainly looked to use his contacts at the Merseyside club to great effect in recent years.

Sheyi Ojo and Ryan Kent have joined the club whilst he’ll also have been aware of Jordan Rossiter when he wasn’t away on loan.

He’s looking to add more from a Liverpool background, then, with Konopinski set to join after leaving his current post with the FA.

Of course, it’s not as exciting an arrival as a new player but it’s always good to try and add the right people to the backroom staff if possible and Konopinski, for Gerrard, is apparently that kind of man.

Certainly, with some of the injuries we have had of late it would be good to get another head in and that is what we seem to be doing.
