Rangers have sealed the signing of Greg Stewart on an two-year-deal.

And he's now moved to Rangers with the 29-year-old becoming Steven Gerrard's fourth summer signing.

A Rangers statement read: "This will be a return of sorts for the Stirling-born player as he began his footballing career in the Rangers Academy."

The forward is a free agent after leaving Birmingham and spent last season on loan at both Kilmarnock and Aberdeen.

Gerrard has already completed moves for Jordan Jones from Kilmarnock, Jake Hastie from Motherwell and Steven Davis from Southampton on pre-contracts.

But that failed to spark the same form as he scored just twice in 20 appearances, being utilised mainly out wide by Derek McInnes.

The former Cowdenbeath player was playing amateur football just nine years ago and spent time at Rangers as a youth player.
