Rangers will be looking to keep the pressure up in the title race later this week as we take on St Johnstone.

Celtic are still involved in Europe and with them not going to win it hopefully that will tire them out and we can reel them in.



We’ve still got to do our job, though, and Steven Gerrard and the players will need to be at their best.



One man we’ll want to see more from, then, is Joe Worrall with patches showing how good he can be and it looks as though we were close to seeing him leave in January according to Martin O’Neill.

Indeed, as quoted by the Nottingham Post he revealed that he would have recalled the defender for the rest of the season in January, but that a clause in the deal stopped that from happening: “He is doing well there, which is good.

I think that whatever arrangement was made, he ended up playing the required number of games for Rangers to keep him at the club.

“Otherwise he would have been here and there is a fairly decent chance he would have been playing for us.” I’m glad we’ve kept him, too, as he can be a good defender if he remains consistent…
