Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has had yet more backing from Finland with regards to his behaviour at HJK Helsinki, as reported by The Scottish Sun.

Morelos has received a staggering four red cards and 27 yellow cards in 81 appearances for Rangers, while at Helsinki he picked up just seven yellow cards in 42 appearances.

His former manager spoke at the weekend about his professionalism while at the club and the head of the Finnish FA’s refereeing department is the latest to shower praise on his overall attitude before signing up at Rangers.

There were occasions when referees here would show him a yellow card, but he was quite clever in the way he handled situations.

When he played, of course, it was different.

As quoted by The Sun, Jouni Hyytia said of the Colombian: I know Morelos has had some problems in Scotland but I can say that, from our point of view in Finland, he was never a troublemaker.

Defenders are especially physical with him and he seems to get no protection whatsoever from referees.
