Porto have banned four of their own players for partying after their Europa League defeat at Rangers .

And the club have been plunged into fresh turmoil after they sent four players home ahead of yesterday's Porto Derby with Boavista.

Luis Diaz - who scored against Rangers in Portugal - keeper Agustín Marchesín, Colombian midfielder Mateus Uribe and Argentinian defender Renzo Saravia were pictured on social media at 5am at a party hosted by Uribe's wife for her birthday the day after their defeat at Ibrox .

Conceicao said: "The players need to know that playing for Porto is more than just signing a contract.

"It takes a lot to live up to these standards and some cannot do it."

The Portuguese giants crashed to a shock 2-0 loss in Glasgow which has put manager Sergio Conceicao under serious pressure from unhappy fans.
