RANGERS Women are bidding for a place in the Scottish Women’s Cup final this weekend as they take on Glasgow City in Stirling on Sunday.

“We are not naive we know we have got a long way to go in terms of where the club want us to be but I think having seen where Rangers have come from there’s a massive difference in terms of on and off the field.” Rangers will take on Glasgow City at Forthbank Stadium on Sunday with a 12 noon kick-off.

Rangers booked their place in the semi-final with wins over Glasgow Girls, Forfar Farmington and Aberdeen to set up the Glasgow City tie.

He said: “I think it will be a massive game and I am looking forward to it because it is a semi-final so if we beat City it means we will reach the final but I am expecting a big big game.

“I think looking at where Rangers have come to even in the short space of time that Gregory has been in getting to the semi-final is massive and if we can make that step to the final that would be even bigger for us.

Defender Emma Brownlie, who has previously lifted the trophy with Hibs, is looking forward to Sunday’s game.

She said:  “I think everyone loves a cup game and it is good to get into a semi-final.
