In our Loan Watch feature series, the Football Transfer Tavern takes a look at how a selection of players from a particular club are faring whilst they are away from their parent side, and provide a brief update regarding their form.

Midfielder Jason Holt made his fifth Premiership start of the season for St Johnstone at Motherwell on Saturday, the third consecutive league game in which he has featured.

On a tough day for St Johnstone, Holt appeared to be one of their few positives, with the loanee getting the highest rating of his team from Andy Devlin of .

This week, we look at two men loaned out by Rangers to other Scottish clubs as well as one plying his trade on the other side of the Atlantic.

Holt appeared to be the best of a rather poor St Johnstone lot on Saturday and hopefully will start more regularly for the struggling Saints.
