Ryan Jack may have handed Steven Gerrard and Rangers an untimely injury blow.

According to a report by The Daily Record, the midfielder has had to withdraw from the Scotland side with a knee injury.

Rangers fans, how concerned are you regarding Jack’s latest setback?

It will be an anxious wait for Gerrard and Rangers as the injury to Jack will not have come at an ideal time for the Light Blues as the fixture list is set to get even busier in the coming weeks.

Indeed, he has become an integral member for the Light Blues following the manager’s arrival just over a year ago as he appears to be one of the first names on his team sheet.

The 27-year-old has some swelling around the knee in question which has not gone down and Steve Clarke has revealed he would not be gambling on him for their encounter against Belgium, whilst he admitted Rangers did not want the risk to be taken either.

According to data collected by Transfermarkt, Jack made 46 appearances for the Bears last season, whereby he contributed with four goals and five assists in what was an injury-hit campaign.
