‘Utter shambles’, ‘Incompetent’ – Loads of Rangers fans have been left fuming by player update

Rangers fans have been left absolutely fuming, taking to Twitter this afternoon to share their thoughts… Regardless who you support do these idiots not realise employing an incompetent compliance officer with a prejudice of certain clubs is gonna rig the Scottish league.

McGregor was cited by the compliance officer last week after a challenge on Aberdeen midfielder Lewis Ferguson, although the club subsequently appealed the decision.

Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor has lost his SFA appeal and will now serve a two match ban, as reported by The Evening Times.

It’s a ridiculous decision, especially considering yesterday’s news that both Paul McGinn and Alan Power would not receive retrospective bands for incidents in their weekend matches.

The player personally attended the hearing today at Hampden, but the original decision has been upheld and he will now miss matches against St Johnstone and Kilmarnock over the next week.

Welcome to scotland where you can boot someone in the face and get a yellow and you can catch someone in the leg and get a red

There is absolutely no consistency when it comes to disciplinary actions in Scottish football and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the club speak out strongly against this latest decision.
